ABOUT THE BOOK
Money and Macroeconomics: Selected Topics from Bangladesh
This book compiles papers that were presented on the topic of money and macroeconomics at the fourth BDI conference held at the University of California-Berkeley on February 22-24, 2013. Most of the papers are based on empirical analyses and address different aspects of the economy, including “real” issues such as growth, employment, saving, investment, trade and agriculture, and financial or monetary issues such as money supply, inflation, equity markets, and microfinance. They all make recommendations for policymakers in Bangladesh.
